How do I create and hold a video meeting?
There are several ways to do this. In the app or web version of Yandex Telemost, press "Create video meeting" and paste the link to the invitation on Yandex Calendar, or send it to the participants directly.If you use the Calendar or an Outlook plugin, select the "Telemost" option when creating a new event.
What platforms does Yandex Telemost support?
Yandex Telemost has a web version for smartphones and desktops, as well as iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows apps.
How many people can join the video meeting?
The maximum number of participants depends on your plan: 100 for Starter, 300 for Standard, and 500 for Advanced. However, you can increase this limit to 1000 in any plan. To do that, submit a request.
Can I record a meeting?
Yes, but only in the Yandex Telemost web version or desktop application. In Yandex Browser, you can record your meetings with no time limits. In other browsers, you can record up to 30 minutes. In the desktop application, the recording time is also unlimited.
Is there a time limit on video meetings?
No, you can have meetings or live streams for as long as you need to.
Can I use Yandex Telemost for free?
You can, but you won't be able to add more than 40 people to a video meeting.
Is it safe to hold video meetings and livestreams with Yandex Telemost? Do we have to worry about NDA risks?
By default, video meetings are created within the closed perimeter of your organization. This means that only your colleagues can join such calls.
