How can I move my documents from Microsoft Office and Google Docs?
Moving files from Microsoft Office is simple. Yandex Documents supports DOCX and XLSX files natively, so you can open them directly in the app. To move files from Google Docs, first download them in a Microsoft Office format (DOCX or XLSX), then open them in Yandex Documents.
Where are my files stored, and how are they protected?
Your files are stored locally on your computer. Signing in with a Yandex ID ensures that unauthorized users can't access your documents.
Does the app come with a Yandex 360 plan, and which plan should I choose?
Yes. Yandex Documents for desktop is included with Yandex 360 plans. If you already have an active plan, download the app and sign in with your Yandex ID. Otherwise, choose a plan to get started and unlock the full set of document tools.
Can I collaborate on documents with others directly in the app?
The desktop app doesn't support co-editing yet, but we're working on it. You can collaborate on documents in the web version.
